Talulah's Art Exhibition: November 27 - Part 2

I decided not to show the individual works as that is the art of someone else's design. However you will see some in the background. Unfortunately I didn't think to take a photo of Talulah with her work, but it was very...emasculating in a Talulala way. Here Simone ponders a still from an anime short film.

I think this is quite lovely. Talulah does look very arty here - and you haven't seen the boots!

Evidence of the storm in action. We had to close most of the windows on the other side of the building to stop the pieces from getting wet.

I have absolutely no idea why the light in this is the way it is. Here Huw tries to work out what the hell that piece of art is.

Talulah's Art Exhibition - November 27

After a night of sausages and veges, courtesy of Paul C, orange muscat courtesy of Huw and a mango courtesy of me plus G&T and someone retiring early to bed, this is what happened:
It started off at Cheers Tavern, Spring Hill for mass with Paul C and others, an informal book group meeting with Ngaio and Huw joining us and then lunch, including a spirited debate about grammar, amongst other things.

Cheers Tavern brews some of its own beer, as evidenced by these tanks. It was good too, as evidenced by the pleasure on Paul's face when he drank the one I bought him. I owed for something, neither of us could remember but we remembered that it was about the cost of a beer.

Paul, Huw, Ngaio and myself convened to Huw's place nearby. I quickly drove home to put on my artist's duds (at request of Talulah) and "shine yer shoes guv'nor?" cloth cap and arrived to find the cherry blossom tea had been brewed. The big storm arrived later, as did sherry (which Kermy is draping himself around) and strange letters to Andrew C did ensue. In addition, Ngaio tuned Huw's cello (below) and he now has no excuse not to play it other than laziness.

Soon it was time to go, so we dropped Ngaio off at her car (she was a little tired after a big night) and Paul, Huw and myself set off to pick up The Simone and head off to Talulah's art exhibition at QUT Kelvin Grove campus. Those pics will be coming up next...
